Professor Zheng Baowei, the director of the center, came to visit School of Journalism, University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri on April 5 after the visit at Yale. Li Yujie, a doctoral student from RUC, who visited School of Journalism, University of Missouri last year, accompanied with Professor Zheng.

Professor Zheng visited the teaching and research office , library, reference room, laboratories and teachers' studios, during which he conducted in-depth discussions with associate professors Hudson and Zhang Yong, as well as Tom Warhover, the editor-in-chief from  Missourian,  focusing on journalism education, journalism training and journalism practice, especially issues on theoretical teaching of journalism. He also exchanged views with Sun Zhigang, director ofCenter for Advanced Social Research (CASR) and vice research director of Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute.
